Eurovision 2016: Justin Timberlake performs at song contest
SINGER Justin Timberlake has brought a US flavour to Eurovision, taking the stage at the song contest in Stockholm.
HE isn’t competing in Eurovision but Justin Timberlake has taken the stage at the song contest, performing two of his hits.
The US singer is a confessed Eurovision fan and has watched it for the past two years, he said in Stockholm.
The nine-time Grammy winner performed Rock Your Body - a throwback to his 2002 debut solo album, Justified - and his new song, Can’t Stop The Feeling, from his latest Hollywood movie, Trolls (Timberlake produced the soundtrack for the upcoming animated feature).
He said it was an “honour” to perform on the Eurovision stage and offered encouragement for the 26 nervous singers who are actually competing in the song contest, joking that singing in front of 200 million people was “no big deal”.

Fresh from his return to music after acting for the past few years, Timberlake proved he’s lost none of his fancy footwork with his Euovision set.
The crowd ate it up too, making almost as much noise as they did for the night’s favourite performances — which, judging by the noise in the room was a split between Russia, Ukraine and Australia.
The USA is broadcasting Eurovision for the first time this year.
This week JT performed a stripped back cover version of True Colours at the Cannes Film Festival in France with his Trolls co-star, Anna Kendrick.
