If she could turn back time, Cher might control herself a tiny bit more to save some 'face'.

Cher lost her cool Wednesday over Burlesque being overlooked in the Best Original Song category for the 83rd Academy Awards.

One day after nominations were announced with the surprising snub, Cher lashed out online at a fan who mocked her disappointment.

"Cher Gripes about not getting nominated ... Would you like some cheese to go with that whine?!" she quoted the person as saying.

That did not sit well with the 64-year-old recording artist, who is currently finishing up a three-year run at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

"Whatever your name is, it is with total disregard and complete lack of respect ... that I wish you goodnight and good fkn luck," (sic) she fired back.

"xxxxCher !" was her signoff.

The song, You Haven't Seen the Last of Me, took home the Best Song prize at the Golden Globe Awards on January 16.

On Tuesday, she was more sanguine about missing out on a chance for an Oscar to add to her 1988 Best Actress win.

"Oh well it is ... what it is ... the sun is still shining!" she wrote.
