Who expected this from the sweetest couple on The Block this season? We’re seeing a whole new side of Kirsty and Jesse.
Block contestants and sweet country couple Kirsty and Jesse show a very different side in the music video for Kirsty’s new single For Love, which serves as a touching tribute to her husband of seven years.
This season’s most drama-free contestants, Kirsty and Jesse have won fans with their unique styling and their shared love of Dolly Parton.
“I know Jesse would give his life for me, and I would do the same, I hope this song tells the story of loving someone so much that you couldn’t imagine living life without them,” said Kirsty.
The video tells a slightly different story – of loving someone so much you can’t keep your hands off them while romping around in a spa and sauna.
Can she repeat the success of OG Block contestant, Amity Dry? She scored a top 10, gold-selling album off the back of the huge success of the show’s very first season back in 2003.

The release serves as a welcome distraction from the dramas of this season of The Block, with almost every couple finding themselves at the centre of some form of controversy. Most recently, All-Stars Mitch and Mark publicly fumed after the judges scored their kitchen dead last in Sunday’s episode.
“Walking through a couple of kitchens where the most obvious faults were staring you in the face, and if three judges who are supposed to be experts can’t see those, then their expertise has to be questioned. It’s inconsistent, and I can’t understand inconsistency,” said Mark.
Mark also had a dire prediction for the rest of the series, saying he believes the judges won’t award he and Mitch another room win.
“We need to do this build without winning any more rooms. We won one, we won’t win another. I predict that’s exactly what will happen,” he said.
