Capacity crowds and the baking heat mean punters need to be prepared this Sunday festival honchos have cautioned.
In a statement, organisers advise people “to consider arriving at the show later in the day if they wish to avoid the hours that the sun is at its hottest.”
They also suggest people shoes sun protective clothing like long sleeved tops, long pants, sunscreen, sunglasses and a wide brimmed hat.
This weather alert follows the Big Day Out’s Sydney show on Australia Day when music fans suffered through the hottest 26th January in 20 years.
