While the video clip seems to take aim at politics, the song is still very much a love song, maybe directed at her new boyfriend Dalton Gomez.

Grande and Gomez have been dating since the beginning of the year, and were first spotted kissing on Valentine’s Day.

People reported in March that they had been seeing each other for “several months” but planned on keeping their relationship private.

Following her highly publicised engagement and then break up from SNL comedian Pete Davidson, we are not surprised that the 27-year-old has decided to keep this one low-key.

Since dating, the pair had looked to be quarantining together, with Gomez appearing on her Instagram Story several times, as TMZ reported.

In May, the singer confirmed her relationship in her Stuck With U music video, giving Gomez her first proper shout out.

Meanwhile, Ariana has also been busy in the real estate game, dropping $A30 million on two huge mansions in California in June.

The award-winning singer spent a cool $A19.6 million ($US13.7 million) for a new Hollywood Hills home that features a stunning infinity pool and looks out over the city of LA.

The pop star has for many years been living in a rented property above the mountains of Beverly Hills, but she has now decided to settle down and grow roots in the trendy neighbourhood known as Bird Streets.

The home is set across 930sq m, and has four bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

The 26-year old purchased the home after it sat on the market for two years. It was completed in 2018 but has never been lived in, after it dropped in price from $A35.8 million ($US25.5 million).

Situated above the iconic Sunset Strip, Ariana will now be able to call the likes of Leo DiCaprio and Keanu Reeves her new neighbours.
