Wonder Woman sequel gets 1980s makeover
SHARING the first photo of Diana Prince from the highly-anticipated sequel, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman has undergone a 1980s makeover.
AFTER smashing box office records with the World War 1-set Wonder Woman, Diana Prince has undergone an almost modern makeover.
Gal Gadot shared the first image of the comic book character on the set of Wonder Woman 1984, which is set in 1984.
The photo revealed filmmakers had made subtle changes to Diana’s look, with her costume decidedly more shiny and the superhero now sporting curly hair.

Diana’s new hairstyle proved a hit with fans online, who commended Wonder Woman for embracing the 80s curling iron.

It’s the second photo that has been shared from the sequel’s set, with director Patty Jenkins sharing a photo of Chris Pine on set to Twitter last week, writing: “Welcome to WONDER WOMAN 1984, Steve Trevor!”

The picture has fuelled speculation that Pine’s character somehow survived his fiery death in the first movie, or the actor was playing a lookalike relative of Steve Trevor’s.
Wonder Woman 1984 will hit Australian screens in November 2019.
