Trailer: A Very Murray Christmas

THE trailer for Sofia Coppola’s long-awaited musical comedy film A Very Murray Christmas has been released.

The Lost In Translation director has enlisted the help of her Hollywood friends, including Bill Murray, for the Netflix special.

It follows Murray’s attempt to host a live holiday broadcast with some big name stars when a blizzard threatens to ruin the event.

The trailer shows actress Julie White and comedians Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones teaming up to help Murray.

Coppola’s cousin Jason Schwartzman makes an appearance, as do band members from rock band Phoenix, including Coppola’s husband Thomas Mars.

That’s David Letterman’s former sidekick, Paul Shaffer, playing the piano.

Miley Cyrus is there, wearing a sexy Santa outfit to perform Sleigh Ride opposite Murray, who is dressed in a tuxedo.

“This sad excuse for a Christmas special, is starting to seem more to me like a Chris-mess,” said Arrested Development comedic actor Michael Cera.

“We have George Clooney,” replied Murray.

“I rest my case. You saw Monuments Men?” asked Cera.

“I was in it,” said Murray.

“You were so good in that,” Poehler reassured him.

A Very Murray Christmas will be released on Netflix on December 4.
