The Hunger Games latest poster accidentally features the C-word
THE designer behind the latest Hunger Games poster might be looking for a new job after accidentally printing the expletive ‘c***’ across actress Jennifer Lawrence’s face.
THE designer behind The Hunger Games latest poster might be looking for a new job after accidentally printing the C-word across actress Jennifer Lawrence’s face.
A poster advertising the final film in the hugely popular movie franchise was released last week featuring Lawrence’s face with the words “100 days until The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part Two”.
However due to the unfortunate font layout a vulgar four-letter expletive is clearly visible.
The “unt” from “until” is placed inside a “0” which was formatted to look like a “C” making the word “C***” clearly visible.
Entertainment company Lionsgate swiftly deleted the poster from The Hunger Games official Twitter account, but not before fans spotted the error.
“#HungerGames just dropped the c-bomb. Brilliant!,” Rosalie Odtojan tweeted.
“Tell me that doesn’t say c***? Dear me,” Twitter user Lina wrote.
Some were unimpressed: “The new Hunger Games poster wasn’t well thought through,” wrote Charlee.
But others were more forgiving: “Over hearing about the Hunger Games graphic. Mistakes happen and evidently some ppl have way too much time on their hands,” Hunger Games Fans wrote.
Mockingjay Part 2 is the final chapter in The Hunger Games series and will be released on November 20.
The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Australian actor Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson and will cover a final, dangerous mission to liberate citizens of war-torn Panem.
