‘Special Correspondents’ trailer: Ricky Gervais and Eric Bana team up for Netflix film

IN THE upcoming Netflix movie Special Correspondents, Ricky Gervais and Eric Bana are back doing what they do best, comedy.

The former Full Frontal star has teamed up with Ricky Gervais for the upcoming Netflix film, Special Correspondents.

The two comedians play radio journalists who pretend they’re in Ecuador covering a rebel uprising, but they’re actually broadcasting from the safety of a New York apartment.

When a rumour that they’ve been kidnapped in Ecuador gains mainstream media coverage in the US, the lads decide to travel for Ecuador for real rather than coming clean.

Special Correspondents, which also stars Benjamin Bratt, America Ferrera and Vera Farmiga, will be released on Netflix on April 29.
