The American actor looked nearly identical to the Wimbledon legend as he sported a red headband and a rather familiar retro perm on the Prague set of Borg vs. McEnroe yesterday, The Sun reports.

And Shia, 29, made sure to showcase his impressive tennis grimaces as he took to the competition-grade grass with a racquet in hand.

The Transformers star is playing McEnroe, 57, in a new biopic focusing on the sportsman’s iconic meltdown during the 1980 Wimbledon final — often described as the greatest tennis match of all time.

McEnroe’s rivalry with Borg, which occurred between 1978 and 1981, was described as “Fire and Ice” due to their polar opposite personalities.

Swedish newcomer Sverrir Gudnason will play Borg.
