HOLD onto your Manolos because Sex and the City 3 is a lot closer than you might think after reports reveal the stars of the hit show have signed on for a third film.

Kim Cattrall Says Sex and the City Ruined Her Love Life

WHILE the past couple of years have been full of Sex and the City sequel rumours, this one seems to be the most concrete.

RadarOnline is reporting all four actors have signed on to make a third movie with their source saying “The deal is done and the script has been approved by all the women.”

All four of the original stars have hinted at a third movie for years ever since the release of Sex and the City 2 in 2010.

Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall got their first Sex and the City movie in 2008.

Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, was the most recent to send the rumour mill into overdrive.

In an interview withVanity Fair in October, Parker agreed the movie deserved a place “in the warming drawer” rather than “in the pantry.”

“The warming drawer is fairly close to a table ... it must be right near the table,” she hinted.

When the magazine questioned if the 51-year old had spoken to Michael Patrick King, the man who has the final say in the project being greenlit, the actor laughed and admitted “we’ve talked about it.”

Kristin Davis, who played the sweet Charlotte York, added fuel to the fire this month when she told People Nowshe isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to the series.

“I do feel inside like we’re not finished. I do feel like there’s another story,” Davis shared.

“I would be up for anything Sarah Jessica and Michael Patrick King think is the right thing,” she added.

Some of the show’s stars have been a little less optimistic.

Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones, told the Daily Record in June “Everyone is doing their own thing and if it was going to happen, it would have happened by now.”

“It would be a challenge to do a third instalment. It could be fun though. To say goodbye completely to Samantha would be pretty hard,” she admitted.

Sex and the City 2 was the most recent reunion of the four fashionable New Yorkers but we haven’t seen anything since the movie’s 2010 release.

While they may only be reports from Radar, there’s no denying the four actors have been hinting at a sequel for years so, fingers crossed it’s finally happening.
