Newcomers Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen join cast of Star Wars: Episode VII
NEWCOMERS Crystal Clarke and Pip Andersen have signed on to star in Star Wars: Episode VII after an open international casting call.
TWO more actors have been added to the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII.
In a statement posted to the film’s official website, filmmakers announced that newcomers Crystal Clarke and Pip Andersen have signed on to star in the hotly anticipated flick.
“Having hunted high and low for young and undiscovered talent, the filmmakers are delighted to announce that two actors from the open call have been cast,” the statement read.
The roles for Clarke, an American actress who also stars in the upcoming action-adventure flick The Moon and the Sun (opposite Pierce Brosnan and William Hurt) and Andersen, a British actor, were not revealed.
It was also announced that production will break for two weeks next month while Harrison Ford recovers from his leg injury.
“Harrison is doing well and is looking forward to returning to the set soon,” the statement read.
Despite the setback, filming remains “on track” to finish in the coming months, with the film scheduled for release in December 2015.
