MATT Damon has pranked strangers into thinking they were helping out with a spy mission.
In a video to promote his upcoming movie, Jason Bourne, Damon fed some unsuspecting people specific instructions via mobile phone which had been hurriedly given to them by a passer-by.
The confused strangers were understandably confused as to what was happening as Damon instructed them to do a variety of tasks such as compliment someone’s children, buy a hotdog and collect an envelope from a mystery man standing on a nearby bridge.
Filmed at The Grove in Los Angeles, those who played along with the prank were eventually guided to a room in a carpark where Damon emerged and surprised them with tickets to the premiere of his new movie.
