Now, Margot Robbie’s next big screen role has finally been confirmed — she has signed on to play Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The former Neighbours star, 28, will portray the Fearless Vampire Killers actor who was brutally killed in 1969 as part of the Charles Manson family murders.

Tarantino’s movie will reunite Robbie with her Wolf of Wall Street co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio, and will also star Brad Pitt, Deadline reports.

It has been dubbed “a Pulp Fiction-like tapestry of stories with characters around LA that summer”, according to the Hollywood industry site.

Pulp Fiction director Tarantino is also said to be “in talks” with Burt Reynolds, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen for “smaller” roles in the movie, according to Deadline.

The movie is set to be released in August, 2019.

In March, Robbie said she had learned of her rumoured casting in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood by reading about it online.

“I only just got the offer two days ago, well I read about it online in fact,” Robbie said, according to Fairfax.

“I didn’t even know if it was a true article or not, so I called up and I was like ‘is there an offer in?’ and they were like ‘there is’ so now I step aside and let my team do their work.”
