Margot Robbie sizzles as Jared Leto terrifies in the new Suicide Squad trailer

WEARING smeared make-up and a maniacal smile, Margot Robbie is seriously hot in the Suicide Squad trailer. Jared Leto, on the other hand, is terrifying.

WEARING smeared make-up, bleached blonde hair and a maniacal red-lipped smile, Margot Robbie is seriously hot in the first trailer for Suicide Squad.

The Aussie starlet, who plays Harley Quinn, shows off some impressive aerial gymnastics in the footage, in which she is shown hanging upside down in her metal cage with her legs split.

“Hope you’ve got insurance,” she says, as she is shown driving a car.

Harley Quinn is the deranged girlfriend of the Joker, played by Oscar-winner Jared Leto.

And while we’ve seen stills of Leto as the Joker, this is the first time we’ve seen him talk, complete with silver teeth, blood red lips and tatts.

“I’m just going to hurt you really, really bad,” a chilling Leto says.

The trailer leaked online after it debuted at Comic-Con in San Diego where stars including Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Will Smith and Jai Courtney presented a Q&A panel about the movie.

Warner Bros spokeswoman Sue Kroll said the studio decided to release the trailer online after the leak despite originally intending it to be exclusive to Comic-Con.

“Today we will release the same footage that has been illegally circulating on the web, in the form it was created and high quality with which it was intended to be enjoyed,” Kroll said in a statement, according to Hollywood industry bible Variety.

“We regret this decision as it was our intention to keep the footage as a unique experience for the Comic Con crowd, but we cannot continue to allow the film to be represented by the poor quality of the pirated footage stolen from our presentation.”

Suicide Squad, directed by David Ayer, is due out in August next year.
