The 25-year-old Aussie shared the big news on Instagram.
He joins Jeff Goldblum who will reprise his original role in the flick which comes 20 years after the original hit the big screen.
Relatively unknown actor Jessie Usher has been cast as the lead and will take over for Will Smith as his son.
It’s set for release next year.
