JJ Abrams teases the Star Wars tragics with blue X Wing fighter in new campaign for UNICEF

DIRECTOR JJ Abrams has given the Star Wars tragics another teasing taste of what to expect in the seventh film in the franchise, due in 2015.
In a video uploaded to YouTube, Abrams has urged fans to support the UNICEF charity Star Wars: Force for Change — and go into the running for an impressive prize, consisting of a trip to the Star Wars Episode Seven set in London, a part in the movie, and an advance screening of the finished film for 20 people.
The video features Abrams standing in front of an X Wing fighter — the type of spaceship flown by Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars, back in 1977.
The Star Wars films are renowned for always featuring new designs for spaceships, droids and monsters, so the inclusion of the X-Wing fighter is something of a throwback — although the ship has been given a never-before-seen blue stripe.
The short video features two other elements familiar to fans of the original saga: an orange jump-suited pilot, and a tiny black ‘Mouse Droid’ which featured in one of the first film’s more comic moments.
A NEW VILLAIN: Harry Potter star joins Star Wars universe
Abrams launched the Star Wars: Force for Change initiative back in May with a similar video which showed off more spacey hardware, and a cute hunchbacked alien who is destined to appear in Episode Seven.
