‘I’m forced to swing on wires’: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s awkward Jumanji realisation
WHILE Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a big muscly dude, he still thinks of himself as being rather delicate. But he got a rude shock on the set of Jumanji.
WHILE Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a big muscly dude, he still thinks of himself as being rather delicate. But he got a rude shock on the set of Jumanji.
The actor, who’s currently filming the remake of the 1995 hit, shared a photo from the set of the flick, and joked about the equipment that was required to hoist his burly frame.
“Apparently my 260lbs (117kg) is too much for the actual vines in the Hawaiian jungles to hold me without breaking and me falling hundreds of feet. So for safety purposes, I’m forced to swing thru #Jumanjj on wires strong enough to hold 12 adult buffaloes and 1 adult Rock,” he jokingly wrote alongside a phote of him hanging from cables.
He added the hashtags: “#OnSet #Jumanji #IronicallyIEatBuffaloDailyForLunch #MoreManThanNatureKnowsWhatToDoWith.”
Johnson’s Jumanji co-star Bobby Cannavale also posted some snaps from the set this week, but his were a little more strange.
The 46-year-old, who’s rumoured to be engaged to his longtime girlfriend Rose Byrne, posted a snap of himself between costume changes. And he was certainly “freeing the nipple”.
“I’m confused by my costume today #setlife #jumanji,” he captioned the photo, which showed him wearing a low-cut white singlet that exposed his hairy chest and nipples.
The Jumanji remake is slated for relase late next year.
