An excerpt from next film, Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 , was posted on the Hunger Games official YouTube channel, and features the villainous character of President Snow, played by Donald Sutherland.

Titled ‘Together as One’, the video also features Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark standing alongside Panem’s leader, who begins his address saying: “Since the Dark Days our great nation has known only peace.

“Ours is an elegant system, conceived to nourish and protect.

“Your districts are the body, the Capitol is the beating heart. Your hard work feeds us, and in return we feed and protect you.”

“But if you resist the system, you starve yourself. If you fight against it, it is you who will bleed. I know you will stand with me, with us, with all of us, together, as one.

“Panem today, Panem tomorrow, Panem forever.”

Jennifer Lawrence will return to the next instalment alongside Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks and Sam Claflin.

The late Philip Seymour Hoffman will also feature as Plutarch Heavensbee, while new cast additions include Natalie Dormer as Cressida, Stef Dawson as Annie Cresta and Julianne Moore as President Coin.

Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 is due to premiere in cinemas in November this year.
