Pop megastar Harry Styles will strip down for passionate sex scenes with a male co-star in his upcoming film, My Policeman.

Harry Styles has been one of the most lusted-after men in music for a decade.

But the star is shifting his sights to a serious film career, set to appear in a raunchy new role in My Policeman that is sure to set pulses racing.

The Sun reports he is shooting passionate sex scenes with his co-star David Dawson for the film, with insiders telling the publication Styles is “really throwing himself” into the role.

The pair will strip off together twice on a closed set for the raunchy sequences, the publication reports.

Shooting for the drama has just started in Brighton, where the film’s protagonists live.

A movie insider tells The Sun: “Harry will be having sex on screen and they want it to look as real as possible.

“The plan is to shoot two romps between Harry and David, then another scene where Harry is naked on his own.

“Not much is going to be left to the imagination.

“Harry is throwing himself into this new role and is really excited about the challenge, even though it’s a daunting task.

“He always wants to do things that people wouldn’t expect and challenge what people think about him — and this film will really do that.”

The film, based on a 2012 novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts, sees Harry ­portray policeman Tom Burgess, who marries schoolteacher ­Marion, played by The Crown’s Emma Corrin.

Set in the Fifties when ­homosexuality was still illegal in Britain, Marion discovers Tom is having an affair with David’s character Patrick and tries to get her husband’s lover arrested.

Over the years, Harry has dated some of the world’s most beautiful women including ­Victoria’s Secret model ­Camille Rowe, reality star Kendall Jenner and pop superstar Taylor Swift.

But asked in 2017 whether he labelled his sexuality, Harry said: “No, I’ve never felt the need to, really. No.

“I don’t feel like it’s something I’ve ever felt like I have to explain about myself.”

Harry made his acting debut in 2017 World War Two epic Dunkirk and spent the end of last year working on his current girlfriend Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller, Don’t Worry Darling.
