GAME of Thrones star Maisie Williams has spilled on filming her first ever sex scene, which she admits was “extremely awkward”.

Thankfully, the 18-year-old Game of Thrones star wasn’t talking about any risque scenes shot as the tiny Arya Stark. The scene in question is for her upcoming indie film, The Falling, which is set in an all-girls boarding school in 1960s England.

“It was extremely awkward,” Williams told Vulture, adding that her co-star Joe Cole “was very sensitive to the fact that I had never done a scene like this before and it was great to work with someone who was so considerate of that.”

To prepare for the uncomfortable scene, the English actress said the pair “went out for a couple of lunches and stuff just to get to know each other ... and we had days of rehearsal where we’d get to know our characters and spend a couple of hours with each other.”

The teen actress is already back on the set of GoT Season 6, where she’s been filming some gruelling scenes in the freezing cold water in Carnlough, Northern Ireland.
