Former Disney starlet Bella Thorne’s surprise turn to porn
Bella Thorne’s new career move couldn’t be further from her Disney origins: an explicit film with “real-life” sex available on Pornhub.
This former Disney starlet has officially done a full 180.
Child model-turned-actress, singer and author Bella Thorne announced on Tuesday that she’s making her directorial debut — on Pornhub.
“My initial idea was to create a Christmas horror movie,” Thorne, 21, says in a new promotional video, “but instead I made a beautiful, ethereal film.”
It also happens to be what used to be referred to as “X-rated”.
Her porno, Her & Him, explores “this relationship between a male and a female and this fight over dominance,” Thorne says, adding that she was especially interested in showing how the film’s stars, adult entertainers Abella Danger and Small Hands, could switch off between being dominant and submissive.

“Her & Him is a modernistic, sexually explicit Romeo and Juliet-like depiction of two star-crossed lovers who have unbridled sexual longing for each other,” says Pornhub vice-president Corey Price, praising how much “creativity and imagination” Thorne put into the artsy skin flick.
“The process of shooting was quite interesting because we had real life f***king on set which I had never shot before at all,” Thorne says. “It is quite a fun environment.”
In the trailer, Hands reads a Google search of “how to kill your boyfriend and get away with it” on his girlfriend’s phone before the film cuts to heavy petting and the two wielding — then licking — a large knife.
“If you think that porn is uncomfortable, I’m sorry that you are uncomfortable, but don’t make other people feel uncomfortable for being OK with it,” says Thorne, who identifies as pansexual.
The film is part of Pornhub’s Visionaries Director’s Series, featuring guest directors who have so far also included rappers Brooke Candy and Young M.A.
Thorne’s film will debut next month at The Oldenburg Film Festival, being held in Germany from September. 11 to 15, and will then become available to subscribers of Pornhub Premium. The subscription service costs $US9.99 ($A14.70) a month, and new users can sign up for a week-long free trial.
BELLA COMES OUT
Last month Thorne came out as pansexual in an interview on Good Morning America while discussing her new book, Life of a Wannabe Mogul.
“I’m actually a pansexual, and I didn’t know that,” Thorne said. She defined the term as: “You like what you like.”
“Doesn’t have to be a girl or a guy or … you know, a he, a she, a this or that. It’s literally, you like personality, like you just like a being,” Bella said. “It doesn’t really matter what’s going on, over there. If I just like it, I like it!”
The term pansexual is a sexual identity on the spectrum that is explicitly inclusive of all genders, regardless of someone’s gender orientation, sexuality or identity.
Thorne first came out as bisexual on Twitter in 2016 and later began dating YouTube star Tana Mongeau and rapper Mod Sun at the same time. After a messy breakup with Mod Sun in April, Thorne began dating current boyfriend Italian singer Benjamin Mascolo.
BELLA’S NUDE HACKING ORDEAL
Back in June, Thorne beat a hacker to the punch when she posted nude photos of herself the alleged creep threatened to leak.
“F**k u and the power u think you have over me,” Thorne tweeted, along with screenshots of texts between her and her alleged hacker, as well as several topless photos. “I’m gonna write about this in my next book.”
Thorne also posted a lengthy missive describing the ordeal.
“For the last 24 hours I have been threatened with my own nudes I feel gross, I feel watched, I feel someone has taken something from me that I only wanted one special person to see,” the former Disney star wrote. “For too long I let a man take advantage of me over and over and I’m f***ing sick of it, I’m putting this out because it’s MY DECISION NOW U DONT GET TO TAKE YET ANOTHER THING FROM ME. I can sleep tonight better knowing I took my power back. U can’t control my life u never will.”
“In other words here’s my boobies,” she concluded, referencing the topless photos she’d attached to her original tweet. “So here f**k u, and the last 24 hours I have been crying instead of celebrating my book while doing my book press. Oh yea, the fbi will be at your house shortly, so watch. your Mother. F***in. Back.”
Thorne did not identify her hacker in the posts.
