Fans fume at surprise cameo in first ‘Ocean’s Eight’ trailer
SANDRA Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Rihanna all rock the Ocean’s Eight trailer, but there’s one cameo people aren’t happy about.
THE full trailer for upcoming heist comedy Ocean’s Eight is finally here - but one blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo has some fans fuming.
This all-female spin-off from the enormously popular Ocean’s Trilogy teams up some of Hollywood’s biggest stars - among them Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna - for a high-stakes jewel heist.
But a brief surprise appearance by actor and talk show host James Corden in the trailer is proving divisive.
Corden has been everywhere this year, appearing in multiple films, hosting numerous award shows and regularly trending online thanks to his Carpool Karaoke skits. He’s a bit like Vegemite - he certainly has a legion of fans, but those who dislike him really loathe him. Sure enough, many of the anti-Corden brigade voiced their opinions loudly on social media once the trailer had dropped:
James Corden, showing up in all the films and ruining it for everyone. When did America elect him to be the new Jar Jar Binks?

At the rate he's appearing, I'm expecting James Corden to be in this new box of Cornflakes I'm about to open.

Love him or loathe him, you can see Corden in Ocean’s Eight when it’s released in cinemas in June next year.
