IT’S the film that made Amy Adams a bona fide star... Now, it seems we all might be getting enchanted all over again with rumours swirling that a sequel to the hit film is in the works.

According to Deadline.com, Shrek 2 and The Smurfs writer J David Stem and David N Weiss are on board to write the Enchanted sequel, seven years after the original was released.

There’s still no word on whether the original cast which include Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel will reprise their roles.

Enchanted told the story of a fairytale princess called Giselle (Amy Adams), who’s plucked from her fantasy world and dropped into New York City, where she meets a modern-day prince in the form of Robert (Patrick Dempsey).
