No Time To Die director Cary Fukunaga had earlier told GQ how emotional Craig had become since having a daughter with Rachel Weisz.

He also recalled how they all went back to Craig’s trailer for Campari drinks after filming the movie’s last scenes.

Craig was 37 when he was cast as the world’s most famous spy in 2005. He is 52 now and ready to hang up his martini glass.

However, the filming for this instalment has not gone without hiccups.

The movie was due to be released next month but has now been pushed back to November because of the coronavirus outbreak.

Studio bosses made the decision to postpone following evaluation of the “global theatrical marketplace”.

The film will now be released in the UK on November 12, 2020 with worldwide release dates to follow, including the Australian launch on November 25.

A statement on the movie’s official Twitter page reads: “MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of NO TIME TO DIE will be postponed until November 2020.”
