Chris Rock: ‘Oprah’s hilarious when she’s drunk’

CHRIS Rock opened up to news.com.au about his famous friends, some of whom star in his new film, Top Five.

MY CHAT with Chris Rock may have lasted less than five minutes, but we did manage to cover what Oprah’s like when drunk and the time he got spewed on during sex.

Not bad huh?

The 50-year-old comedian is in Australia to promote his new movie, Top Five, which he wrote, directed and starred in. Talk about multi-talented.

The film features hilarious cameos from some of Rock’s famous friends (I won’t reveal who because he wants them to be a surprise), and securing their services was a simple job.

“I call them, I text them, I stalk them, I go where they eat and hang out and pretend I just want to be friends and then I’m like, ‘Jerry, what are you doing Wednesday? Why don’t you come down to the set?’” said Rock.

One of his real life showbiz mates, Oprah Winfrey, doesn’t appear in the film but does get mentioned by a character who says she is “hilarious when drunk”.

But is that true in real life, I asked Rock? YES.

“Oprah IS hilarious when she’s drunk,” said Rock, although he was reluctant to divulge more details. “It’s like Fight Club. It’s Oprah Club ... anything that happens at Oprah Club stays in Oprah Club.”

The movie, which also stars Rosario Dawson and Gabrielle Union, features some fairly shocking/outrageous/awkward sex scenes which I probably can’t go into too much detail about.

But from the sounds of it, Rock’s been through more awkward experiences in the bedroom in real life.

“You know what, a girl did throw up on me a long time ago,” he admitted, revealing that it didn’t actually bother him at the time. “I kept going. I was like 18 or whatever and I was like ‘Vomit, schmomit. You feel better now don’t you?’

“What, am I going to send her out to have great sex with somebody else? No.”
