‘Batkid Begins: The Wish Heard Around the World’ documentary trailer
BACK in 2013, thousands rallied together to help a young cancer sufferer carry out his wish to spend a day as Batman. What happened next was incredible.
GRAB a tissue right now because this documentary trailer is a real tear-jerker.
You might remember that back in November 2013, thousands of people rallied together to give a five-year-old cancer sufferer an unforgettable day in San Francisco.
Miles Scott, who was diagnosed with leukaemia when he was 18-months-old, used his Make A Wish Foundation wish to spend a full day as his hero, Batman.
Streets were shut down, actors were hired and crowds lined the streets as Miles aka Batkid, completed a number of challenges around the city and eventually saved the day.
The story of the pint-sized hero captured hearts around the world with celebrities and even President Obama sending him messages of support.
And now a documentary about the inspirational boy, called Batkid Begins: The Wish Heard Around the World, is set to melt hearts when it hits cinemas next month.
