90s TV star Kevin Sorbo throws herculean hissy fit over Dwayne Johnson movie

KEVIN Sorbo, who played Hercules on TV in the 1990s, is pretty annoyed that he wasn’t allowed to do a cameo in the new Hercules movie.

THE man who played Hercules on TV, Kevin Sorbo, is pi**ed that he wasn’t asked to be in the new Hercules movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Sorbo, who played the warrior in several telemovies and in the TV series in the 1990s, told Dish Nation that he even asked if he could be in the new movie.

“We were sort of taken aback that they wouldn’t let me in that movie,” Sorbo said.

“Not even to do a cameo. I think it’s kind of stupid, really.”

“We approached the director [Brett Ratner]. I don’t know what his reasons are. I don’t know if it was political or ego or what it is? But to not put me in for a stupid little cameo? The audience would have loved it.”

Hercules, starring Dwayne Johnson, will start showing in Aussie cinemas on Thursday July 24.
