Please sir, can you tell me what Oliver looks like now?
IN 1968 Mark Lester starred as Oliver in the musical film of the same name. He’s now 56 and has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few years.
“PLEASE sir, I want some more.”
Back in 1968 Mark Lester uttered this famous line when he starred as Oliver in the musical film by the same name.
He was eight years old when he appeared in the film and because he couldn’t sing, all of Oliver’s songs were dubbed by the daughter of the film’s music arranger.
Lester appeared in several other movies over the following years before he quit acting when he was just 19 years old.
He later became an osteopath and opened his own clinic ... but let’s skip forward to 2009 when things got a bit weird.
Lester, who was close friends with Michael Jackson, told the News of the World newspaper that he thinks he might be the father of the King of Pop’s daughter.
“In 1996 Michael asked me if I would give him my sperm and I said yes,” said Lester.
“It was a gift to him, no money was paid, it was something I was honoured to do. He wanted children so badly.
“I do feel a definite bonding with Paris and I think there’s a definite possibility that she’s part of me.”

Last year a supposed Jackson family friend told the Mirror that Paris Jackson is keen to meet with Lester.
“Paris is deeply interested in learning about her father’s friendship with Mark and what happened,” the family friend said.
“In no way would she ever see him as a replacement for Michael but she’s curious. Mark has met the kids before but Paris never knew the significance of it until now.”
