In a matter of hours, one of the most exciting movies of the year is practically about to slide into your DMs.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be available to watch from 6pm AEDT for BINGE and Foxtel subscribers.

Australia will get to watch it at the same time as the rest of the world.

Yesterday, a handful of lucky fans were the first Aussies to watch the epic at a special BINGE-hosted fan screening in Melbourne last night - among them, celeb fans including Kris Smith and former Gogglebox duo Adam and Symon.

It’s been three years since the release of Warner Bros. Justice League, which failed to impress diehard DC fans and was a box office disappointment.

Snyder was the original director before he dropped out of production after the shock death of his daughter in 2017, when control was handed over to a now under-siege Joss Whedon.

A petition to release Snyder’s cut of the film has been circling for years, and in May last year the beloved director confirmed he would release his version.

Reshoots and editing for the four-hour long film began late last year and cost Warner Bros. a whopping $90 million, in addition to the already $380 million spent on the 2017 version.

While it’ll follow a similar plot line, the film has been drastically restored by Snyder, with fans declaring it looks like a “completely different movie” in the trailer.

This is thanks to the addition of deleted scenes, overhauled post-production editing, new music and reshoots. It’s also expected to contain characters and plot lines that were cut from the earlier release.

Perhaps most excitingly, Jared Leto has joined the line-up to reprise his role as the Joker (he wasn’t originally in Justice League) after playing the Clown Prince in 2016’s Suicide Squad.

Justice League brings together DC’s biggest superheroes: Batman (played by Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller).
