James Bond should go back to the 1950s

There were some shocking scenes in 1960s Bond movies but going back to the 1950s for the next instalment of the 007 movies might just work, Duncan Lay writes, adding Bond could break down the sexism and racism while catching baddies and saving the day.

Hollywood remake of Mulan missed its mark in China

Disney thought it would make a billion dollars in China for its remake of the animated movie Mulan. Instead the Chinese are voting with their feet and avoiding it like a coughing stallholder at a Wuhan wet market, Duncan Lay writes.
