Brad Pitt dragged into Sharon Stone and Billy Baldwin’s ‘sex’ feud

In a bizarre twist, Brad Pitt has now been named in the very public feud between former co-stars Sharon Stone and Billy Baldwin.

The director of a film at the centre of bombshell sex claims has broken his silence on its stars’ escalating feud.

It was reported last week that stars of the 1993 hit movie Sliver — Sharon Stone and Billy Baldwin — were at war over allegations that Stone was encouraged to sleep with Baldwin off camera.

The Basic Instinct star recently divulged that producer Robert Evans wanted her to get intimate with Billy Baldwin while they filmed the racy thriller, Page Six reports.

“He called me to his office. He had these very low ’70s, ’80s couches, so I’m essentially sitting on the floor, when I should have been on set,” Stone said on the Louis Theroux podcast last Monday.

“And he’s running around his office in sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better, and we needed Billy to get better in the movie because that was the problem.”

Phillip Noyce, who directed Sliver, opened up for the first time about the experience to The Mail on Sunday.

“The two were not at all happy opposite each other. Sharon had always wanted Brad Pitt to play opposite her, so she was disappointed,” he said.

“I think she was genuinely regretful even that she’d taken the role. She was not at all happy on the movie.”

Noyce added that the tension between the lead actors was so unbearable, they often avoided filming together entirely.

“Some of Sharon’s close-ups had to be shot with a stand-in opposite her.

“There was such a great deal of animosity on set. Sharon’s open disdain for Billy resulted in him feeling extremely insecure.”

Noyce’s remarks came just days after Stone finally revealed the name of the producer who pressured her to have sex with a co-star in an effort to get a “better” performance.

‘I have so much dirt on her’: Billy Baldwin reacts

Billy Baldwin reacted to the news writing on social media, “Not sure why Sharon Stone keep talking about me all these years later?

“Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?”

He continued with more questions about her revelations and said he had “dirt” on Stone.

“Did she say to her gal pal Janice Dickinson the day after I screen tested and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York … ‘I’m gonna make him fall so hard for me, it’s gonna make his head spin’???

“I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I’ve kept quiet.

“The story of the meeting I had with Bob Evans imploring him allow me to choreograph the final sex scene in the photo below so I wouldn’t have to kiss Sharon is absolute legend.

“Wonder if I should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, kinky and unprofessional tales about Sharon? That might be fun.”

‘Have sex’ to ‘save the movie’

Stone, now 66, said Evans believed sleeping with Baldwin, now 61 and married to Chynna Phillips, would give the pair better “chemistry on screen,” which would “save the movie”.

“The real problem with the movie was me because I was so uptight, and so not like a real actress who could just f**k him and get things back on track,” she said. “The real problem was I was such a tight arse.”

The Casino star admitted she was frustrated that the filmmakers had not listened to her suggestions on whom to cast instead of the Bio-Dome actor — like Michael Douglas.

“I didn’t have to f**k Michael Douglas,” she said. “Michael could come to work and know how to hit those marks, and do that line, and rehearse and show up.

“Now all of a sudden I’m in the ‘I have to f**k people’ business.”

Stone first shared the uncomfortable situation in her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, but did not name Evans or Baldwin at the time.

“He walked back and forth in his office with the balls falling out of the spout and rolling all over the wood floor as he explained to me why I should f**k my co-star so that we could have on-screen chemistry,” she wrote in the tome.

“Now you think if I f**k him, he will become a fine actor? Nobody’s that good in bed. I felt they could have just hired a co-star with talent, someone who could deliver a scene and remember his lines.”

The Oscar nominee wrote that the film bosses could “f**k themselves” and leave her “out of it.”

“It was my job to act and I said so,” she wrote

Stone noted that Sliver earned $280 million at the box office despite being considered a major flop. Evans died in 2019 at age 89.
