NICOLE Kidman and Keith Urban had eyes only for each other on the Cannes red carpet.

The couple didn't hide their love for each other as they put on a romantic display in front of the world's media at the screening of Inside Llewyn Davis.

Nicole, a juror at the festival, wowed the crowd again with her latest couture choice - a stunning gown from L'Wren Scott.

Meanwhile, Megan Gale turned heads at Cannes when she climbed the infamous red staircase on another soggy night in the French Riviera.

Gale, attending as the Australian face of L'Oreal Paris, wore a stunning Alex Perry sheer black gown as she lapped up her time in the spotlight alongside other guests, including Jane Fonda, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth.

Gale was there for the premiere of French creation Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian) by Arnaud Desplechin.

"It's wonderful to have been invited back to Cannes again for a second time. It has been just as hectic a trip but at least I had experienced it before . . . so knew what to expect and how chaotic and crazy the festival is," Gale said.

'The highlight of this visit had to be hanging out with the other attending L'Oreal Paris ambassadors. I had the pleasure of meeting some for the first time, including the super-sweet Eva Longoria, the stunning and very down-to-earth Cheryl Cole and the truly remarkable and iconic Jane Fonda. It was also fantastic to again spend time with both Doutzen Kroes and Aimee Mullins . . . both of whom I always love to catch up with."

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire star Hemsworth was there with co-star Lawrence ahead of the release of the sequel in November.

A few days earlier, Hemsworth withdrew from the feature remake of The Raven.
