Fifi Box opens up about true love

RADIO host Fifi Box has opened up about her true love saying she is full of contentment.

RADIO host Fifi Box has opened up about her love for daughter Trixie Belle.

The Fox FM breakfast host has returned from a US trip with her toddler, almost two years-old, full of contentment with motherhood.

“She’s just amazing,” Box said.

“Friends had always said to me it gets better and there is a cheeky little monkey coming out.

“She’s got one word, no, and she hasn’t said mummy yet.

“I tell her to say mummy and she runs away and thinks it’s a game.

“You just love someone so much you just want to squeeze her.”

Box, who started the breakfast shift last year after working with Jules Lund on drive, said the morning slot suited her.

“When the alarm goes off at 4am a piece of you dies, but it does really work,’’ she said.

“Trix and I go to bed together and then we play all afternoon and it’s a dream to be able to spend the day with her.

“There’s no great plan other than to enjoy what I’m doing and my benchmark is if I have a good, fun time.

“Last year I felt like the landscape shifted and now again it has ... there is no rivalry whatsoever. “People say there’s a ratings war but we’re all in this together.”
