APPARENTLY Lorde provides the magic touch when rounding up a herd of cows.

Derek Klingenberg, a Kansas farmer, has come up with a novel way to bring his cattle in at night, serenading them with his rendition of Lorde’s hit song Royals.

The farmer uses his trombone to play the song and apparently it’s music to their ears.

It’s not the first time one of Lorde’s songs has been used for comic effect.

Recently Weird Al Yankovic created his own version about the benefits of aluminium wrapping, calling it Foils.
