The former Melbourne actor, who now is based in Los Angeles delivered a candid interview on her newly launched website Herself, which comprises a collection of interviews and portraits of naked women.

Open honest and often blunt, Stasey shared her feeling and beliefs on her sexuality.
“I’ve known I was mostly gay ever since I can remember. I know it troubles many people for me to refer to myself as a lesbian considering I have a male partner,” Stasey writes.
“I think they gather that it trivialises the plight of the LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex and Asexual) community, and although that couldn’t be further from the truth at this point in my life I’m trying to steer as far from labelling as possible.”
Stasey, who appears in Josh Thomas’s cult favourite Please Like Me new series on ABC2, explains her views on feminism and womanhood.
“I’m sure I’m only catcalled because I’m a woman, and verbally thrashed online because I’m a woman. I once had a man stalk me for over a year.”

It is not the first time Stasey has spoken out about her beliefs, last year she got in a Twitter row with Perez Hilton over the nude photo scandal and lashed out at Bindi Irwin after the wildlife warrior suggested teenage girls should dress more modestly.
“Women — Love each other, support each other, defend each other. It comes at a greater cost to you to attack the women around you than it does to empower them.”
The 24-year-old said the world largely views women as “mothers, sl-ts, virgins or wives”.
