DREW Barrymore is raising an adorable bookworm, sharing a sweet snap of daughter Olive “reading” on a beach getaway.

The star shared a sweet picture of her mini-me daughter Olive ingoring the sunshine in favour of 30 Rock star Tiny Fey’s bestseller Bossypants.

“One of my favourite girls reading one of my favourite books written by one of my favourite woman! #tinafeyrules #summerreading”,” wrote her proud mum on Instagram.

Barrymore and husban Will Kopleman welcomed their second daughter Frankie in April.

Barrymore said they prepared Olive for the arrival of her new sister by reading books about families.

“I read her a lot of books,” Barrymore told US Weekly last year. “She loves books! That’s her favourite thing the world, books.”

Barrymore herself is now a bestselling author, with her book Find It In Everything, a collection of her photos of heart-shaped objects, topping The New York Times bestseller list in the US.

The former child star, who famously struggled with addiction and had a difficult relationship with her own mother, has been open about wanting to give her girls the stability and education she missed out on as a wild child.

“The best kind of parent you can be is to lead by example, “ Barrymore has said.

“Whatever I’ve experience in my life is a part of my story, and I’m proud of that. But It’s womeone who wakes up early, works all day, believes in charitable work, business-minded, diligent, accountable, problem-solving…I’m so much about school, consistency and tradition.”
