Dr Chris Brown saves the life of a fly in upcoming series of Bondi Vet
HOW do you even perform a life-saving operation on a fly? If anyone can, it’s Bondi Vet Dr Chris Brown.
DR CHRIS Brown really is that nice a guy, he wouldn’t hurt a fly — in fact the popular television vet goes so far as to saves their lives.
While filming a segment for Network Ten’s Bondi Vet, Dr Chris is talking with resident reptile expert Tim Faulkner who accidentally swallows a fly.
Shocked, the Australian Reptile Park manager starts to gag before saying “a fly just went down my throat. Straight suicide”.
Dr Chris then examines his colleague with a stethoscope before the fly is coughed back up.
Dr Chris quickly turns his attention to saving the insect by examining it before blowing on it several times.
Whether it’s the power of nature or the skills of the well-loved vet, the bug is revived and flies away.
The pair have helped a number of animals during their time on Bondi Vet, but even Dr Chris isn’t sure this is a career highlight.
“I’m not sure if this is a high point or a low point,” he joked.
Bondi Vet is on Channel Ten, Saturdays at 7.30pm.
