CHRISSIE Swan is returning to breakfast radio.

Swan will join 101.9 The Fox’s breakfast team of Fifi Box and Dave Thornton today in what will become a regular Friday slot.

It’s her first gig on breakfast radio since leaving MIX FM last year.

“I’ll be popping in and having a gasbag with Fifi and Dave, just baby steps,” she said.

“It’s going to be fun, and that’s my motto for this year, just do fun stuff.”

Swan said there were many projects in the pipeline that had come about since returning from the South African jungle, where she came third on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

“I’ve got lots of little things happening, I’ve got much more time during the week, obviously, just doing the radio on Friday mornings.

“I’ve been in so many meetings since I got back, I could change my occupation to professional meetings taker.

“It’s ridiculous.”

She told Confidential that I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! was an “amazing” experience, but she is glad to be back home with her family.

“I’m just really grateful still for the tiny little things,” she said. “I’m just so excited to have my life back.”

Swan has made a lifelong friend in castmate Joel Creasey — it turns out they met not long before the reality show started.

“We had filmed a pilot together about two months before the show, so we spent probably an hour and a half together, and just instantly I loved him,” she said.

“So I was thrilled to see him when he arrived (in the jungle); obviously we didn’t know who was in the show.

“He became my soulmate, my support through the whole thing. We are very, very close.”
