Chloe Lattanzi posts cosy Instagram pic with mum Olivia Newton-John

CHLOE Lattanzi has posted a cosy pic of her with famous mum Olivia Newton-John to Instagram, squashing rumours of a rift.

WE all know she’s not scared of a selfie. Now Chloe Lattanzi has roped her mum Olivia Newton-John into her online world, posting a cosy pic of the two, squashing ongoing rumours that there’s a major rift.

“I love you mama #bestfriends,” Lattanzi captioned the pic, in which she has her arms draped around her famous mother.

Given Lattanzi’s past problems with drugs and alcohol, the two have been through some rocky times. As recently as May, the 29-year-old admitted to falling off the wagon soon after completing a significant stint in rehab.

She and a male friend posted images online, which showed them both looking a bit worse for wear. Later she admitted: “I went out last night and p****d my sobriety away.”

She later reassured her friends that, “Just so all my friends know, I’m fine. I almost fell off, but I’ve got back on.”

There were also reports that Newton-John had roped in other family members (including dad Matt Lattanzi, who lives in a Teepee in Malibu), to confront Lattanzi over her issues.

Still, the pic goes a long way to dispelling any hint of trouble between the pair.

Indeed, in a recent feature in the Malibu Times, the two were photographed together looking happy. “People always ask me what my biggest accomplishment is, and the first thing that comes to mind is my daughter,” said Newton-John. “If she’s happy, I’m happy.”
