WHO magazine announces 2013's best and worst dressed list

CATE Blanchett, the "perennial risk-taker" has topped the list of WHO magazine's best dressed for 2013. But two other Aussies have made it an all-Australia style trifecta.

CATE Blanchett, the "perennial risk-taker" has topped the list of WHO magazine's best dressed for 2013.

Blanchett and fellow Aussies Nicole Kidman and Miranda Kerr have staged a "fashion coup" by taking out the top three spots on the annual list.

"Cate could get it wrong but constantly scores points for her unpredictable style," WHO editor Nicky Briger told news.com.au.

"She's edgy but oh-so chic, which is tough combination to pull off."

Added judge Sonia Kruger: "She's regal, she's ravishing, she's a little bit scary … and that's why we admire her."

Nicole Kidman was runner-up in the sartorial style trifecta - and a very close second for the judges.

"In Cannes this year, she paraded the world's most stunning gowns which took everyone's breath away," said Briger. "After decades of red carpet style, Nicole still rules!"

Meanwhile, the not-so style savvy Lindsay Lohan, Katie Price and Christina Aguilera landed themselves on the top of the worst dressed list.

"From exposed skin and clashing colours to mismatched pieces, Lindsay's bizarre style combinations have pushed past the limits of taste," said Briger.

And just when things didn't look like they could get any worse for Miley Cyrus of late, she's been shamed on WHO's fashion tragics list too.

"Her bare-all style has certainly taken a bold U-turn this year, but her daring choices haven't paid off."
