The Albanian singer turned up on the red carpet for today’s event using the oldest trick in the book for a starlet looking to boost her public profile: wear very, very little in the way of clothing.

Bleona, we hope you brought a jacket.

Bleona — who has previously been described as the ‘Madonna of Albania’ (although her music ain’t quite up there with Like A Prayer) — has been based in the US since 2009, working with heavy hitters like Timbaland and Rodney Jerkins in an attempt to crack the lucrative American music market.

So far, those attempts have proved largely fruitless, but it’s safe to say that after today a few more people know what Bleona Qereti looks like. Whether or not they’ll remember what her face looks like is another story.
