Sophie Turner confirms pregnancy rumours, debuts baby bump at Met Gala

Sophie Turner has debuted a growing baby bump on the Met Gala red carpet, confirming rumours she’s pregnant with her second child.

Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner arrived at the Met Gala flaunting a very visible baby bump.

Rumours have been swirling for months that Turner, 26, and her husband Joe Jonas, 32, were expecting their second child together, though both were yet to comment.

But Turner has confirmed those reports while posing on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, with the ‘Queen of the North’ cradling her tummy while posing for a throng of photographers.

The British actress sported a floating black Louis Vuitton gown with Victorian-inspired long red hair and a bold red lip.

Jonas, who at one point cradled his wife’s stomach, donned a white tux with a lace coattail and black panel details.

It marks the first time Jonas and Turner have attended the Met since 2019.

The couple were married in 2019 and had their first child, daughter Willa Jonas, in July 2020.

Meanwhile, guests at this year’s Met were told to dress in the theme of “Gilded glamour, white-tie” and asked to “embody the grandeur – and perhaps the dichotomy – of gilded age New York”.
