Lara Worthington has rocked Sydney’s red carpet in a low-key glamour look after confirming she will have her third baby boy early next year.

Worthington travelled to Australia for the grand opening of Louis Vuitton’s new, redesigned flagship store on George Street in Sydney on Wednesday.

She wore a chic but loose fitting set of the label’s silk pyjamas on the red carpet, showing a sense of comfort and flair.

Earlier, the star of the country’s unforgettable ‘Where the bloody hell are you?’ campaign confirmed the pregnancy rumours to Vogue Australia, announcing it was another boy.

“Yes, I’m pregnant! I’m having a boy early next year,” she said.

“It’s my third boy and we’re all very excited and very happy.”

Worthington, 32, said the news had brought “joy and happiness” to the family, but especially to her young sons who were excited for a brother.

“I think any addition brings joy and happiness to the family, but more so when you can share it with the other boys. It’s such a boy’s club in my house!” she said.

“They think it’s cool … All boys, I think, want a brother. So another brother … you know, it’s building the football team. They’re excited!”

She was joined by fellow celebrity mum Elsa Pataky at the event, as well as former Foreign Minister Julie Bishop, models Georgia Fowler, Natasha Oakley and US singer Carly Rae Jepsen.

The Australian model, who now lives in Los Angeles with actor husband Sam Worthington and their two sons Rocket Zot, 4, and Racer, 2, was careful not to show her baby bump as she touched down in Australia on Tuesday.

She wore an oversized black jumper and dark sunglasses as she stepped out at Sydney Airport.

Worthington moved to the US with her husband five years ago and has increasingly shielded her life from the public eye.

Earlier this year she told Stellar she took pride in protecting her family.

“It’s not just about me anymore,” she said.

“I have less of a voice and I’m happy about that because sometimes there’s too much talk.

“In fact, Sam doesn’t even have social media, and if mine was to go away tomorrow it wouldn’t leave an imprint on my life.

“All my friends are my real friends — I don’t need to talk to them through Instagram.”
