Halle Berry rocks sheer dress at red carpet premiere of new Netflix film The Union
Hollywood star Halle Berry, 58, stunned in a skin-tight, sheer black dress at the premiere of her new Netflix movie.
Halle Berry sure knows how to shut down the red carpet.
The Hollywood star ensured all eyes were on her at the LA premiere of her new movie The Union by wearing a skin-tight, sheer black dress to the event held at the Egyptian Theatre on Monday night.
The 58-year-old looked sexy and sultry in a long-sleeved, lacy bodysuit that featured a plunging V-shaped neckline. The dress was adorned with floral lace and corset-like panelling down the bodice.
“About last night,” she later captioned an Instagram photo of herself on the red carpet. “Can’t wait for the world to experience The Union out this Friday on @netflix.”
“Thank you to everyone who was a part of this thrilling film and thank you @markwahlberg for being the best partner in espionage.”
In the action-comedy, Berry plays Roxanne, a spy who returns to New Jersey to recruit her high school sweetheart Mike (Wahlberg) to assist in a high-stakes US intelligence mission in London.
While Berry received praise for her striking dress on the red carpet, her 16-year-old daughter Nahla was more impressed by Wahlberg, who was also in attendance.
“Well, I got cool points when I introduced my daughter to Mark, because she loves Daddy’s Home,” Berry told People magazine at the premiere.
“That’s one of her favourite movies. So when I got to introduce her to Mark, I think it was the first time in my whole career where she said, ‘Oh, you know Mark Wahlberg? OK, you’re cool.’”
Berry’s sexy red carpet appearance comes as no surprise as the actress has long been comfortable in her own skin, often posting selfies of herself barely clothed on social media.
Last month, she marked 20 years since playing the title role in the Catwoman film by sharing a series of underwear photos, while wearing her Catwoman mask, of course.
“And STILL... meow!” Berry captioned the pics. “It’s been 20 years today since I had the honour of bringing this iconic character to life.”
“She will always be close to my heart and I will forever be Patience Phillips aka CATWOMAN!”
