Fashion designer Vera Wang wows on red carpet at 74
Fashion designer Vera Wang hit the red carpet in a revealing, cut-out gown, looking decades younger than her 74 years.
Vera Wang sure knows how to make a statement.
While attending the 2024 Fragrance Foundation Awards this week, the fashion designer, 74, chose a bright, neon green dress that featured a feathered skirt and low-cut neckline.
Adding a black bandeau top underneath, Wang kept the rest of her outfit somewhat simple, skipping elaborate jewels for a basic black bracelet and, at one point, slipping on large sunglasses.
Still, while the bridal legend’s bold look popped against the blue carpet, Wang’s youthful appearance was what really stole the spotlight.
Her fans on Instagram went wild for the look, which the bridal expert said she chose to “match” the design of her fragrance bottle, for which she was nominated in the category Consumer Choice – Women’s Popular.
“You really are your own best model- WOW,” one person said. Another declared her a “neon knockout” while a third called Wang “forever young.”
The fashion icon is well known for her age-defying looks, often causing a commotion whenever she posts a new snap to social media.
Wang once again shocked her followers recently after sharing a poolside shot of herself in a white one-piece bathing suit.
“Eternal youth. You must have benjamin button syndrome, I mean the good reverse,” one person commented.
Similar sentiments were shared last December, when Wang shared some photos alongside her two daughters.
“You look stunning!” someone wrote underneath the post. “Instead of Mum and daughters you look like 3 beautiful sisters.”
Thankfully, Wang isn’t keeping her anti-ageing secrets to herself, and last year, told Page Six that she regularly eats McDonald’s.
“I order it every day, like two weeks on it, and then I’ll change,” she admitted, adding that she’s also a fan of Dunkin’ Donuts.
“I like the cream-filled, sugar-coated doughnut. It’s like a jelly doughnut, but it’s cream inside, vanilla cream. I like the pink with sprinkles, too.”

Previously, Wang told her Instagram followers that “work, sleep, a vodka cocktail [and] not much sun” were key to looking young.
Whatever she’s doing, it’s working!
