Miranda Kerr replaced as the face of Mango by model Daria Werbowy
IT'S been a rough year for Miranda Kerr. First, she lost her gig with David Jones, then she forfeited her Angel wings, and now she's been replaced by another global retailer.
IT'S been a rough year for Miranda Kerr.
First, she was replaced by Jessica Gomes as a David Jones ambassador. She then ended her longstanding relationship with Victoria's Secret, forfeiting her Angel title, and just last month she split from husband Orlando Bloom after three years of marriage.
And now in the latest blow to the Aussie supermodel she has been replaced as the face of global retailer Mango, with Canadian model Daria Werbowy taking the reigns.
Werbowy, 29, is best known for appearing on the pages of French and American Vogue and is also a spokesperson for Lancôme. Mango has a long list of celebrities who have fronted their campaigns including Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, Milla Jovovich, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer and Christy Turlington.
Kerr, 30, has been the face of the Spanish clothing line since taking over from Kate Moss last year.
When news broke that the mum-of-one would not be strutting her stuff for the Victoria's Secret Show this year for the first time since 2007, reports surfaced that she had been dumped by the lingerie giant for being "difficult" to work with.
VS boss Ed Razek later denied these claims, adding that her international commitments were the reason Kerr was unable to walk the runway.
This latest announcement begs the question though - what will Miranda do next?
