Margot Robbie poses pants-free in first Chanel campaign
SHE was nominated for an Oscar and recently cast in Quentin Tarantino’s new movie. Now Margot Robbie’s new role in a sexy campaign for Chanel has been revealed.
MARGOT Robbie has posted pants-free wearing a sexy bodysuit and stockings in her first campaign for Chanel.
The Australian actor, 27, is an ambassador for the French luxury brand, and wears oversized knits, ski goggles and leather gloves for the brand’s new sporty Coco Neige collection, photographed by Karl Lagerfeld.
Oscar-nominee Robbie described the shoot — where she models the winter-themed line — as “one of the greatest experiences of my career”.
“The energy and vibe on set was so wonderful and collaborative,” the I, Tonya star said in a statement.
“One of the first things Karl Lagerfeld said to me was that we never need to take ourselves too seriously.
“He has such a creative mind and he knows exactly what he wants and the minute he captured it, we were moving onto the next shot,” she added, of working with Chanel designer Lagerfeld. “It was amazing.”
Robbie described Lagerfeld as a “creative mastermind”.
“I already knew he was a genius but to be able to spend time with him in person, I now know he is also just a wonderful human being,” Robbie said.
Last month, it was confirmed that Robbie’s next big screen role will be as Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
The former Neighbours star will portray the Fearless Vampire Killers actor who was brutally killed in 1969 as part of the Charles Manson family murders.
Tarantino’s movie will reunite Robbie with her Wolf of Wall Street co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio, and will also star Brad Pitt.
It has been dubbed “a Pulp Fiction-like tapestry of stories with characters around LA that summer”, according to deadline.
Chanel’s new Coco Neige collection combines a “technical wardrobe and urban pieces”, inspired by the ski slopes, with tweed, leather and the brand’s signature quilted shapes, according to the brand.
The Coco Neige collection is out in July.
