Jennifer Lopez wears bizarre all-denim ensemble on red carpet

Jennifer Lopez can pull off just about any outfit, but even she looks weird in the ensemble she wore to a screening of her new film Hustlers.

Look, Jennifer Lopez can pull off pretty much any outfit she wants, but she’s skirting close to the line with her latest ensemble.

The glammed-up star, who turned 50 in July, rocked up to a New York screening of her latest film Hustlers in an all-denim outfit. Yep, that's head-to-toe denim:

Somewhat surprisingly, Lopez is scoring Oscar buzz for her role in the film, which tells the real-life story of a group of strip club workers who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.

Lopez got emotional when US Today host Hoda Kotb brought up the glowing reviews for the film with her this week.

“I’ve just been working hard for so long, for my whole life. It’s nice,” said Lopez, getting teary-eyed. “Sorry, you guys know I’m emotional!”

Hustlers is released in Australian cinemas on October 10.
