Gigi Hadid’s ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik has recently unfollowed her on Instagram amid her new romance with Leonardo DiCaprio

Gigi Hadid’s ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik has recently unfollowed her on Instagram amid her new romance with Leonardo DiCaprio.

According to ELLE, the former One Direction singer now follows just 24 people on his account and about half are fan accounts about him. At the moment, Hadid still follows Malik.

The news comes after sources confirmed the 27-year-old model is dating the Titanic star.

People reported that the Oscar-winner and Hadid are “getting to know each other.”

It also comes as Hadid gave her former flame a shoutout on Instagram while celebrating their daughter Khai’s second birthday earlier this week.

The glamour girl tagged Malik in a snap of Khai’s birthday cake with the caption: “Our little angel turned 2 today.”

The duo dated on and off for five years before splitting up in October 2021.

It’s alleged the Pillowtalk singer assaulted Hadid’s mother Yolanda during a row shortly before their break-up.

Malik hit back at Yolanda, who claimed the musician had hit her and said: “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and, for the sake of my daughter, I decline to give any further details, and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”

He also spoke about the incident on Twitter, saying: “As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private place for my daughter to grow up in.

“A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart.

“In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.

“This was and still should be a private matter, but it seems for now there is a divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.”
